School Council
At Spotland Primary Academy, we have one representative from each class from Year 1 to Year 6 that make up our School Council and these members are all voted for by their class peers. Our overall aim for our School Council is to make Spotland the best school it could possibly be. School councillors meet every half term, to feedback their classmates' views and opinions, to ensure that every voice is heard and all children are involved in being part of the whole school community.
The roles and responsibilities of our School Council are:
To be the voice of their classmates and peers
To ensure everyone feels safe and happy in school
To ensure everyone feels proud of their school
To encourage all pupils to suggest ideas and improvements to make Spotland even better
To plan and organise fun activities or events within school
To work alongside Ms Dunn, to put forward new ideas at School Council meetings
